Hi, I’m Silpa Pande,
Owner of Melt in Your Mouth
From a relaxed beach town in India, I came to the U.S. for a Master’s in Computer Science with no baking experience, but a friend’s homemade cake sparked my passion for baking and sharing joy through desserts.
Years later, after adopting a dairy- and soy-free diet while nursing my daughter and learning about the health impacts of artificial dyes, I was inspired to create Melt in Your Mouth—offering delicious, clean, allergy-friendly treats. What began as a small booth at the Walpole Farmers Market has grown into multiple markets, pop-ups, and events.
Next Stop: Boston Public Market! In October 2025, we opened our space at Boston Public Market after winning the 2025 Incubator Pitch Competition, where we now share our handcrafted, scratch-made desserts with an even wider community.
